MANUFACTURING PROCESS

Turning Natural Fibre into Reliable, Export-Grade Tableware

At Fibrenco, our manufacturing process is built around one principle:
use natural materials responsibly and convert them into high-quality, practical products — without harming the planet.

Every plate, bowl, and clamshell goes through a carefully controlled sequence of steps to ensure consistency, safety, and durability.

1. Responsible Fibre Sourcing

We begin with sugarcane bagasse, a natural by-product of sugarcane processing.
This fibre is renewable, abundant, and does not require cutting trees.
Only clean, approved, and traceable material is used in our production cycle.

2. Cleaning & Preparation

The raw fibres are washed and filtered to remove impurities.
This stage ensures the material is:

  • Hygienic
  • Food-safe
  • Uniform in quality

Clean fibre creates a strong base for the moulding process that follows.

3. Pulping – Converting Fibre into Mouldable Material

The prepared fibre is mixed with water to form a smooth pulp.
This pulp is:

  • Consistent in density
  • Free from contaminants
  • Ideal for shaping into high-strength tableware

The pulping process uses optimized energy and minimal water.

4. Moulding – Forming the Product

The pulp is poured into precision-engineered moulds.
Through controlled pressure and heat, the fibre takes shape as:

  • Plates
  • Bowls
  • Compartment trays
  • Clamshell containers

Each mould is calibrated for accurate dimensions and a clean finish.

5. Hot Pressing & Drying

Once shaped, the product undergoes hot pressing, which:

  • Removes excess moisture
  • Strengthens the structure
  • Improves the surface finish
  • Ensures rigidity and durability

After pressing, products are dried thoroughly to achieve their final form.

6. Trimming & Edge Finishing

Each item is precision-trimmed to remove rough edges.
This step ensures:

  • Smooth touch
  • Consistent shape
  • Export-grade appearance

Attention to detail is essential for a clean and professional finish.

7. Quality Inspection

Every batch is checked for:

  • Strength & rigidity
  • Uniform thickness
  • Clean finish
  • Accurate dimensions
  • Food-safe hygiene standards

Only products that meet our specifications are approved for packing.

Packaging & Dispatch

Products are packed in protective, low-impact materials.
We ensure:

  • Safe transit
  • Export-ready packaging
  • Clearly labelled cartons
  • Efficient loading for domestic & international shipments

A Process Designed for Circularity

Our manufacturing system uses:

  • Natural fibres
  • Minimal waste
  • Low-energy moulding cycles
  • Water reuse wherever possible
  • Materials that return safely to nature

This allows us to offer sustainable alternatives without compromising on quality.
