SUSTAINABILITY

Designed by Nature. Returned to Nature.

Our Approach to Sustainability

At Fibrenco, sustainability isn’t a claim — it’s the foundation of how we work.
We use natural crop fibres, primarily sugarcane bagasse, to create tableware that is strong in use and gentle on the planet.

Our products begin in farms, serve people, and return safely to nature without leaving a trace.

We follow a simple principle:
Use what nature already provides. Never take more.

Why Natural Fibre?

Agricultural fibre is one of the most abundant renewable resources on earth.
Bagasse — the dry fibrous residue left after extracting juice from sugarcane — is often under-used or burned.
Instead of letting it go to waste, we convert it into durable, food-safe tableware.

This approach allows us to:

  • Avoid cutting trees

  • Reduce plastic dependency

  • Support circular use of farm by-products

  • Offer a truly plant-based alternative

Circular by Design

Every Fibrenco product is created with intentional circularity:

1. Starts with natural fibre

No trees, no petroleum-based materials.

2. Manufactured efficiently

Our moulding and drying processes are designed to minimise waste and energy use.

3. Safe for people

Food-grade, clean, and suitable for global markets.

4. Returns to nature

After use, the product biodegrades without leaving microplastics or toxic residue.

Nothing is permanent — and that’s the point.

Low-Waste Manufacturing

Our production process is built to reduce environmental impact at every stage:

  • Minimal water usage during fibre preparation

  • Optimised energy cycles for moulding and drying

  • Recycling of process water wherever possible

  • Waste trimming returned to pulp or repurposed

  • Responsible packaging with minimal plastic

Every improvement is guided by practicality and honesty — not trends.

Responsible Sourcing

We work closely with trusted agricultural partners to source fibres responsibly. These materials are:

  • Regionally available

  • Renewable every harvest

  • Free from forest exploitation

  • Traceable within our supply chain

By choosing farm fibres, we support rural ecosystems and avoid dependence on tree-based pulp.

A Quiet Commitment

We don’t believe sustainability needs loud claims.
It needs clarity, consistency, and responsible choices over time.

So our commitment remains simple:

No Trees. No Plastic. Just Fibre.

Not as a slogan — but as a practice woven into every product we make.

A Future Built on Better Material Choices

We envision a future where natural fibres replace unnecessary plastics in everyday life. Not through force or fear, but through smart, accessible, reliable alternatives.

Fibrenco is built to be part of that future — one plate, one bowl, one fibre at a time.
